How do I enter the Preliminary Tax?
Highlight your Client and select Payment. You will now see the current year and the next tax year.
I never entered the Preliminary tax for my 2010 return before I rolled forward to the 2012
Personal Tax will only let you enter the current year’s tax and the next year’s tax. If you have started working on your 2012 return, you must create a copy of the 2012 Form 11 and delete the return from Personal Tax. Enter your tax and then do a ROS Import to bring in your 2012 return.
I cannot find a closed client?
Go to Tools >> Settings >> Tax Details and check that you do not have ‘Hide Closed Clients’ ticked. Also click on the search icon (magnifying glass) and use the filters to try to find them.
