The Credit Control function on Drive allows users to easily access credit control information and send out credit control-specific messages via email, letters, etc.
The browse screen will show the aged debtors which can be easily sorted, searched, and filtered.
The Hot Keys/Features for this section and their purpose are outlined below. To use them, highlight the relevant client and select the required icon at the top. You can also use these by highlighting the relevant client and right-clicking to display the options.
Ledger Card: This displays the client ledger card and allows filtering for specific postings, viewing highlighted bills or credit notes in Word, and an email bill function.
Email Statements: This allows you to send a statement to the relevant client.
Communications: This displays all communication classified as Credit Control for the client.
Mail Merge: This will give the standard mail merge document selection screen. From here you can add, edit, delete, and design documents, as well as assign signatories and subjects.
SMS: This option shows the standard SMS merge template selection screen where you can add, edit, and delete templates.
Add Note: Selecting this will open a standard new memo pre-populated with the client information and communication type - Credit Control. The subject of these notes will appear under the 'Last note' column on the Credit Control browse screen for the client.
Add Email: This will open the standard email form pre-populated with the client detail and Credit Control communication type.
Add Phone: This will open the standard phone-out form pre-populated with the client detail and Credit Control communication type.
Edit Client Details: This opens the screen to edit client details, like in the Client and Contact Database.
Calculate Client Ageing: This will give the option to populate the client ageing up to the specified date.
Excel Export: This exports the Credit Control browse screen into an excel spreadsheet.
